DFW has significantly higher numbers than Greater Houston although it depends I guess on how you define the areas. Taking the Dave Campbell Texas Football definition DFW had 156 last year and Greater Houston had 110. You really hope to get the kids in the Top half of those lists-but maybe stretch that out for DFW. The Dallas Morning News actually ranks Nos. 1-100-I don't think the Houston Chronicle does

I don't believe in rumors but, If we were to lose at another position on signing day a Lewis commit would make for a GREAT DAY.

A few years ago (before the recruiting sites really grew), I asked my Dad how SMU was doing.
"According to the DMN, they have Zero National 100, State 100, and DFW 100 recruits committed. Furthermore, even the uncommitted guys don't list SMU on their list."
