Thomas actually looks somewhat skinny now. I think he lost too much weight imo.

Wasn't he down to A&M and us? I think Avery Johnson swayed his decision (along with a lot of other local recruits that went to A&M) and then Avery took the Bama job and his kid transferred to Bama. Hoopmax may have some insight on his recruitment but I think he was close to choosing us until the very end. I am sure we could use him.

At the time, I predicted half that class wouldn't last at aggieland. I need one more to drop....

Avery Johnson Jr was the one that swayed most of those players decisions from my understanding.

If LB & Crew believe that this guy has the heart to buy in then I think it's a no-brainer to take him. You don't roll out the red carpet by any means, but if he gets a full year here to workout, bulk up, and get COACHED UP by this staff then he could easily turn into the stud big man that next year's team is looking for. IMO it's MK 2.0...again, only if this staff believes that he's willing to commit to the program. And with how tight knit this team is, I think they'll know pretty quickly if it's sink or swim for him.

Elijah is already the 2nd local to transfer from A&M. PG Alex Robinson from Mansfield left several weeks ago. SMU recruited him as well.

6'10, hands, class of 19? If the team wants him, I forgive all his transgressions. Please, come in from your wanderings in the wasteland.

Sometimes a second chance is exactly what you need. I'll leave the deciding to the guys who should decide. If it happens and works out... Great. I think the MK comparison is valid. But at the end of the day it's up to the kid.

Perhaps the Elijah Thomas chant in Moody was not in vain after all...

I bet the atmosphere in Aggie Arena pales in comparison to Moody.

Word via aggie staff is that he wasn't happy not starting lol. You really want a kid who transfers for that reason, 9 games into his college career?

We lose all bigs except Semi next year at this point. He would have 2 semesters to learn LB's system so could very well start for us in17. So yes if the coaches want to offer him I am all for it. Who knows, A&M coaches could be just ticked off with him leaving.

LOL. And he is turning out to be one of their best players. So they shouldn't say anything.

Didn't want him then, don't want him now. Don't care about our depth, we still have the Spring
