Looks very nice. Still don't think I care for the overall "bowl" shape of the structure, but the renovations and updates look first rate.

$7M with about $2M in renovations (older facility).

Interior looks really nice. Exterior is indeed uninspiring, which matches the rest of their campus. The Bowl is just a terrible thing to have to live with. I know it would have been a really expensive rebuild to do something else - but they really should have done so. You cant have a good building with a bowl. No exceptions.

This. Should have built a new arena. The Reds moved out of Riverfront Stadium, the Pirates moved out of Three Rivers, the Phillies moved out of the Vet, the Giants moved out of Candlestick...all because those stadiums had antiquated designs. Makes no sense to keep a design that doesn't work.

Isn't "The Pit" at New Mexico a bowl? Didn't they have a great home court environment back in the day?
I don't get the "Angles" part of that list in the photo...

That's the difference between a $92-93M facility and a $160M+ facility.

I had assumed they would have renovated the bowl seating arrangement. All other areas look very nice.

Not really. Auburn has a very nice new arena that was built for $86 million (admittedly a few years old now - but still recent). A facility like Auburn's would have been perfect for TCU.
