Rivals 3 star and ranked #76 in the state right now by them. Looks and plays similarly to Xavier Castille. Nice get this early.

He is probably talking post DP era. We have a lot of 2017 offers out this early.

Ebner is a badass. Obviously, he is very skilled as a WR but I love the way he attacks the ball as a DB. This is a helluva first commit for 17.

Schools didn't do any of this early recruiting back in 1970s and 1980. Seriously most recruiting (actual visits as opposed to scouting) was done from about the end of November to February. This guy has committed 15 months before signing date and we have an unprecedented number of offers out for Class of 2017. I really mean SMU has never canvassed the state this early and seen such a positive response
