Wow, Houston offered little Prime Time? Figured we were all alone in that boat.

Although he will never be anything like his father, little Prime Time wasn't a horrible slot receiver and I am interested to see how he does at DB next year. (Hopefully, he didn't inherit his father's tackling skills)

Jason Phillips was about the only one even trying-not my fault that June Jones has one coach like Klemm or Jason Phillips in charge of recruiting to mask the others sitting on their [deleted]. Compare to Chad Morris where every coach is pulling the rope all over DFW and Texas instead of 2 or 3 recruiters spread too thin. In 2 full recruiting years + 3 weeks of a third, Phillips was lead recruiter for:

Jason Phillips has got some skins on the wall whether you guys like him or not/ Not surprised he's one of few who got a job. He'll probably help Kansas in recruiting in Greater Houston. I'm sure our coaches are going to go head-to-head several times

Remember when Abu floated the idea that hiring Phillips as HC after June retried would be a good idea?

I would be genuinely interested to see where I said that. I certainly don't recall it. I did think JP looked like a positive young hire from the outset, and I thought that perhaps JJ/Mumme were going to groom unnamed younger coaches for the future, but that's about it.

I wouldn't count Shelby Walker out ("he made zero impact"). He actually started 7 games and averaged 15.5 ypc. He's skinny and only now has a body to really have a shot at helping
