Nic has been the most fun and best athlete I've ever seen at SMU. He needs to be honored somehow. Jersey? Statue?

Jersey retirement is a huge deal, and I think that in the modern NBA era it should be reserved for people how have hall of fame professional careers. You can't retire the jersey of every player who gets a pro contract but there is more to bring a great college athlete in the history of a school than being a pro. Nic is a joy to watch.

I love Nic but retiring his jersey is a huge step to take. It's not about how many numbers you have, look at Cincinnati, they are a great basketball school and have retired 3 jerseys ever. And the only recent one is Kenyon Martin.
