A few notes on Tulsa (8-4).

Their best win to-date was almost 6 weeks ago vs. Wichita State. To say that WSU has struggled this year would be an understatement (doesn't help that FVV has been hurt).

Adj Offensive Efficiency: 92nd Nationally at 106.4 pts / 100 possessions (SMU IS FRIKEN 11th @ 116.2 pts / 100 possessions)
Adj. Defensive Efficiency: 51st Nationally at 96.5 pts / 100 possessions.
Stat that should everyone SALIVATE: Tulsa allows opponents to grab 27% of available offensive rebounds. SMU grabs 44% (3rd nationally) of its misses on offense. Jordan is 2nd!!!!! nationally. Although its against the new age advanced stats to crash the glass and sacrifice getting set up on the defensive end, JT/MK5/BMoore should hammer Tulsa on the offensive glass and create extra possessions.

Tulsa wants to push the tempo (15 seconds per possession), while SMU grinds teams down in the halfcourt. I hope we limit possessions because I am supremely confident in our ability to score.

is Tulsa an enigma or what? Beat Wichita St and OK State and lost to ORU. Interesting they've lost to Little Rock who was undefeated at the time, South Carolina who is undefeated and can lose to us.
