No more hardship waiver. Also, noted that QB Alex Morris is transferring to NTSU from Alabama for next year as a senior graduate transfer

Yep, if we get Kincade I'm guessing plan would be to start Morris this year, Kincade sits for his year then starts next year. That gives us 2 years to develop a young QB because right now we have nothing waiting in the wings.

Didn't know about the hardship waiver thing being done away with... I think in English's case it is actually the type of scenarios it was set-up for. Sad situation.

Looks like the new rule is you can transfer, still have to sit out a year, but if it's a hardship we don't want to punish you by losing a year of eligibility. So that year sitting out doesn't count against them.

We are happy about it for sure. We see what LaTech is doing in our division doing the graduate transfer thing just about every year. Hopefully it pans out, still a lot of other voids to fill of course.
