shouldn't knock the kid. Deon is like any other mom,dad or grandparent, except what he says gets a lot more pub. Parents almost always see their kids through the "rose-colored" glasses no matter what level whether it is sports or any activity, so no need to get offended and hold it against a kid for his dad loving him.

BTW Braeden West had a better KO return average than Sanders in his "ALL AAC" year. West was at 23.5 yards per return and Sanders was at 20.5 in 2014. Then didn't West get hurt later in the year and then Sanders had more chances and he too had a better average at 24 yards per return. So looks like we got a lot more out of our Kickoff Team under the new Coach than we did last year with June's staff. Win Win. Sanders numerous mistakes in Kick Return game in 2014 were addressed. I personally would have sat his [deleted] on the Bench in 2014 the 2nd time he returned a Kickoff 8 yards deep or lined up at the 15 to return a kick

Growing up, there was a kid in my town with a famous NFL coach (and hothead) for a father. I cannot imagine his son really wanted his dad to behave like a d@@@ to the refs, coaches, and other parents.

Because Deion has never been shy about expressing his opinion on anything, I doubt Junior's opinion would cause Deion to speak up (or shut up).

I think he was actually the Kicking game coaching in 2014 because apparently nobody else taught him where to line up or when to take a touchback. No kick returner is SMU History has made more bonehead decisions in one year than Deion in 2014

SMU talent in the cheerleading department has improved, but still lags TCU. Their show girls are top notch

it has been a good couple of years in the cheerleader/pom girl area for us, but we still have some ground to make up. Its a travesty when you see the overall talent pool.
