Ok, in every post you have made in this thread you have resorted to name calling and insults against those who disagree with you, alluding to purported homosexua encounters and complete lack of intelligence. Then you turn around and are upset and attempt to belittle someone for using the same technique against you, when they really didn't. My use of cliche is simply to make the point without having to waste time, I would bet that most on this board understood and saw what I was refering to in your earlier posts.
Now, for someone who does nothing but complain, why not do something constructive, and offer factual based solutions to SMU's problems. Ones that you might be able to present to the board of trustees, AD and president in the hopes that you can get what you want. Or is that too difficult? The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
Billy Joe,
When you accuse someone of getting paid and then call them a fool it does not equal an argument, it is an ad hominem attack. Kind of hard to refute arguments when you don't make any. Lighten up it is the Christmas season. You know the good will towards men thing. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and
doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
Hey treadway, love the tag, but that is actually a line fom the great Bob Hope.
btw, do have a Happy Christmas!! That actually should go to all Pony Fans! Go Ponies!
Billy Joe
There was no threat meant to be sent through my post. I was merely offering to meetg and discuss the matter as it is easier to discuss in perosn than through a forum. If you feel threatened by that perhaps you should look inside yourself and take a self-assesment.
It ain't over until Kathy Bates sings.
Like Bus said, wait until JUCO signing day. If that day passes and we don't add to our total, then it is time to worry. Until then, just hold tight and enjoy the ride. Keep in mind that last year, some of our best signees, Settle, Sanders, Givens, didn't pop up until January.
Get your facts right before opening your mouth..or else go back to first grade and learn to count on your fingers, one, two and three. Now to the point...no one is saying they are pleased with only having 3 committs at this point. No one is saying they wouldn't want UT's class of 23 blue chip players right now. The thing is that last I heard [deleted] and moaning doesn't help recruiting. Fact is that most recruits thought us a complete waste of time and joke before the season and the first half (with the excepton of TCU) didn't help. While our ending the year on a positive streak is nice, arkansas state doesn't have a single committ and they are going to a bowl game. We have as many or more than 5 of the twelve teams in CUSA. So get off Bennett's back...lets wait and see until at least till mid january before we claim that the world is coming to an end.
Thanks No Cal. I ran across it when I googled looking for the result of SMU Notre Dame for 1984 Aloha Bowl. It only came up as a quote for Eisenhower; I'll add Bob Hope.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and all ponyfans. ![]() Does using that Emoticon make me a sunshiner? An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and

The BCS reality now is that many recruits wait to see if UT or A&M offer them. After that they wait for TT, then if none of them offer them, they look and see that they have offers from SMU, TCU, Kansas, ISU, and Illinois. Then they try and decide whether they want to go out of state or stay in state. Then they can sort out the programs. Now that UT and A&M have filled their classes, we'll see. Also we have no idea what sort of issues that Bennett has to deal with as far as the Admissions Office goes to even offer some of these kids. This isn't UT where anyone who will probably get their high school diploma before August can get an offer.
Little sayings like what, maybe like this: "If grandma had balls, we would call her Grandpa" Now that was a winner of a saying, and added so much to the discussion didn't it Billy Bob?
Abezontar,
What IS that avatar?? Geez, it shakes like me after a long night on the sauce. ![]() I can't look at it for more than a few seconds or I see double. Every time I see it, I can't help but think of this quivering trustafarrian (sp?) b-st-ard outside the Wooden Nickel in Crested Butte during Spring Break '93. He had a wee too much of the Jager, and forgot to take his jacket when he went outside for a smoke. He quivered a lot like that. We thought he was going to die. Seriously, what IS that?? ![]()
feelan that's the hardest I've laughed all week...Thanks!
RVG Pony...that was one of my comments in another thread on this board in response to someone saying what if Bennett wins 7 or more games next year. The saying actually had a lot to do with the discussion. Again the 'sunshiners' on this board have united and cannot discuss the plight of this program with facts. No surpise. It is this attitude, or better yet, ineptitude, that has seen us at the bottom quarter in Division 1-A football for almost twenty years. Way to go guys. If SMU wins 7 next year and makes a bowl game then I will eat my words. History suggests otherwise. My point is this....SMU is way behind on recruiting this year anyway you analyze it.
Hey, I call it like I see it. Don't preach about arguing with facts when you make a dumba$$ comment like that anywhere, regardless if it was on another thread or not. I don't think a comment about your grandma having balls is very relevant to any discussion, nor do I care if your grandma has balls anyway. I don't see how that can be a relevant to any discussion to tell you the truth. If you want to fire off one-liners, be my guest, but don't act like your [deleted] doesn't stink when someone else does the same thing.
