Tulsa won its first 10 games in the American Athletic Conference last year.
That was then. This is now.
SMU, the defending champ, league favorite and unbeaten, got a sensational homecoming from Owasso freshman Shake Milton, who hit his first seven 3-pointers and scored 24 points, as the Mustangs won, 81-69, on Tuesday at the Reynolds Center.
SMU appears to be better than advertised.
