TCU dragging down our RPI

Postby EastStang » Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:11 pm

I see TCU is ranked 231 in RPI. I don't ever want to hear the Froggies complain about our football team keeping them out of the National Championship. Shoes on the other foot now. I want to keep playing the Froggies in all sports. Let's agree that at times each school will hurt the other's RPI.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

The late, great, Abe Lemons compared the TCU basketball team of a past era as a bunch of cockroaches. He said they were worthless and good for nothing but occasionally fouling the pot for everyone else by finding a way to upset the conference powerhouses once or twice a year.

That was Darrell Royal when a TCU upset in the early 60s ruined perfect UT's season.

very true...and yet, they played us as tough as anyone all season (except Yale). Rivalry games are important and I agree we need to be playing TCU in all sports

Maybe we should take UNT off the football schedule and take TCU off the the basketball schedule (at least until TCU shows they are not an RPI liability).

IF TCU is being considered a high major on our schedule, ditch them and grab someone that matters. If its to fill our mid quota, I'm ok w them
