Temple did a good job keeping the crowd out of the game. 5/3 sounded like a morgue.

Fran calling the UT/UConn game just said "SMU throttled Tulsa today and my man Nic Moore dropped 23 in the win."

And I'll bet Dunphy reminded them all week. Huge motivator. Great win for Temple. They played a really tough OOC schedule. Can't sleep on 'em.

We're not happy until Mic's not happy:

The Bearcats (10-4, 0-1) have dropped four of their past seven games, including back-to-back losses against Iowa State and Temple on their home floor. Cincinnati has three home losses in December for the first time in eight years.

"I'd like to apologize to all of our former players that have to watch our guys play with that type of defensive effort," Cronin said. "It's an embarrassment. It's my fault, and I mean that.

"Temple made some shots, give them credit. But our defensive effort is porous, lazy. Our problem is we're just not a good defensive team right now. We lack a lot of toughness. We don't do anything that's hard."

73-67 UH over USF. Bulls' Chris Perry is kind of a one man show with 19-10-4 stat line. USF's PG McMurray did have 5 threes. I am sure LB won't take them or anyone lightly.

Carry on.

I guess temple had a bit of a hangover and Houston might actually be decent.

Tulsa at Cincy is the Losers Bracket on ESPNU. Somebody gonna be 0-2
