With all the boring, one sided, games this bowl season it was great to have the drama today watching Oregon go down. No matter the rivalry hate I will always secretly (and sometimes outwardly) root for a Texas based team over any other.

I always root for the Texas teams against any non-Texas team.

It also helps when the other team is Nike U. Oregon FB is pretty easy to dislike.

where did this defense come from-I know its their backup QB but they are flying to the ball

I believe Baylor was using either their 4th or 5th QB. Impressive to handle the pressure, execute and have minimal reps. in practice until the end of the season.

I could have put this note in any of several threads about the Boykin affair. I believe Charleston Pony had it about right with the comment:

No matter any previous transgression by coach or players or team, and no matter the worthiness of the Oregon program, the Horn Frogs played a heck of a game.
