This is how Jank handled it in those short bench games. But that was against Howard and Nic State. Expect a lot of Zone and let's hope that we don't get the refs from the first couple of games at Moody or the TCU game.

Early in the season it wasn't rope a dope as much as get in foul trouble and play zone to avoid more.

Recently the trend has been more rope a dope in playing loose defensively in the first half to avoid fouls completely, and then ramp it up during the second half to create space in the scoreline. Will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

if we play rope a dope early on Cinn the game could be out of reach. you have to play your game and hope for the best. They will be coming at us hard from the opening bell to try to get a "call everything" tempo going. If they let us play it will be our game. Tightly called will be their game.

Can we get a Silence of the Lambs mask for Wilfong - I would like to protect him while demonstrating the rope a dope technique

They brought Ryan Manuel in today for a practice body. They probably won't add anyone but the two additional walk-ons might suit up now.

You all may BE right: the time may come where we need more than we have. But if you think The Godfather is going to suit up some jamoke who peaked in high school to play with a team he has personally selected, practicEd with and nurtured over a four year period....well....I dont think you've been paying attention.

More likely he finishes that game with the last FOUR standing.

Quit making me Google s***

Thought it might be a good name for my chocolate lab I just brang home. lol

Appearing at the end of the 19th century as a blend of java +‎ mocha, by the 1920s it became slang for someone who lacked mental abilities beyond that of a cup of coffee, probably influenced by moke. In the 1960s it also began to be used as slang for male genitalia.
