Houston SportsRadio vs Tom Herman re Kyle Allen
This story is blowing up in Houston. SportsRadio 610 is our Ticket. Truly worth listing to the 20min knockdown between Tom Herman and 610 hosts regarding breaking the Kyle Allen story.

Houston Press article on the story doesn't do the live version justice but has the link above.

Houston SportsRadio vs Tom Herman re Kyle Allen
I can't believe I listened to the whole interview but it was priceless. I have even more respect for Herman now. These radio bozos don't care about accuracy just entertainment. It changed my thinking about these talking heads when considering them as journalists.
Re: Houston SportsRadio vs Tom Herman re Kyle Allen
I came away thinking Tom Herman is a jerk. I like UH, and want them to succeed, but would never want to play for him.

Media is not about the news....it is about selling media.
Once you get that truth in your head, it seems to make more sense how they act and react.. Had a far wiser person than me give me this pearl after an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, where the 'reporter' intentionally changed the story to make it more "interesting" as he told me later. One very positive reason that the fish wrap is going the way of the dodo.

I was sent the link earlier by a good friend of mine involved in the Houston program. They think Herman comes across great. Personally, I thought both sides came out pretty poorly.

Man Herman is a giant bag of Richards.
So glad we have Chad. Herman is gonna light the city on fire on his way out in a year or two.
I also can't believe he cited a dictionary definition on the word "meet". What ax hat.

Good grief Herman does come just across as a Richard. Lopez was in the wrong but the whole fire analogy is just silly. Sounded like Herman was looking for contempt

Both coach and hosts come off as tools. Not sure there's a winner here.

Yeah, Lopez throwing the family card out there for no reason but to garner sympathy

Wow. Guy is a terrific coach but also comes off as a huge jerk.

Kinda like Nick Saban, Gary Patterson, etc.
Easy to hate when they're on the other sideline, would be their biggest fan if they were yours.

Re: Houston SportsRadio vs Tom Herman re Kyle Allen
Good hire for Houston but he would have been a disaster here. Once he has to deal with some real adversity it's going to get hot really quick there.
This year they caught lightning in a bottle... A few bad breaks next year and only 8 wins, he's going to have fits about crowd size, etc and that will be it.
He's a really good coach but the guy needs to chill out a little. It's going to get the best of him at some point.

No joke. I cannot imagine how that kind of attitude and style would play with RGT and the big money blue hairs that run this thing. Match made in Hell.
Back off Warchild seriously.
