Keith Frazier thread.

Here is what I have been wondering.

Maybe someone closer to the everyday lives of the players can answer this.... There is no way I can.

How close was Keith ( off the court) to his teammates?

Did he have a best friend?

Did he hang out with them or was he more of a loner socially?

Did he confide in any of them or was he more of an enigma?

Did they truly regard him as one of them or did they kinda "tolerate" him?

I base my theory on no fact at all but I wonder if the pressure he felt was basically never fitting in off the court?

SMU is a final four contender and Nic Moore, maybe the best SMU player ever will never get to experience a post season run because of Keith. I don't feel bad for Keith and neither should you. Why do you not replace the word Keith with Ulric Maligi? Is it not possible that Ulric is responsible for the predicament that we are in?

Blaming Keith is so blatantly unfair. Take Larry Brown as your example of how to treat a human being. Keith is family. You support family no matter what.

I'm not looking to blame anyone and I really am ambivalent about the whole saga. But I have to wonder WHY someone would do what he did, basically throwing away all the opportunity and ditching your "family."

It's a valid question and perhaps it will never be adequately explained. It just seems so…and here's where I get stuck…

And yeah…I've moved on from "Keith…The Mustang." Done.

As a matter of fact there are those who said we were better off without him when he had to sit because of grades.

I feel like we are better off without him now. Sure, it would be helpful to be eight deep with the consistent talent….but I don't NEED Keith.

I agree it's time to move on. This season is about our three 5th year seniors who had nothing to do with anything and are now being denied a chance to compete for a national championship. Only thing left for them is to go undefeated or if that goal can't be reached, to at least repeat as regular season AAC Champs.
