MemphisHey all who have gone to a game at Memphis, what is it like to buy tickets there instead of getting them earlier. The wife and I are pretty sure going to drive down for the game and think we might get better seats buying them there. Whatchall think?
Re: Memphis
With Pastner as coach you can but them cheap as you walk in
Re: MemphisThe U of M resales season tickets at face value on their website -- http://www.gotigersgo.com.
I just checked and there are several tickets in Section 106 behind the SMU bench on sale for $75 each. I believe additional game tickets will become available on this site on season holders decide not to go. 94 is correct. Fans are abandoning Pastner and showing their displeasure by boycotting games. You definitely can grab some tickets on the street before the game, and I'm guessing some seats will go for less than face value.
Re: MemphisIf by chance we are still undefeated it might bring some of their fans back with the hope of winning.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: MemphisWhat do you mean 'if'? Fair weather fan.
Re: MemphisDo not wear your SMU colors / garb to the game, you will regret it.....
Re: Memphisi wore my SMU sweatshirt. I survived. Especially if the crowd is stilled pissed at Pastner, shouldn't be a problem.
Re: MemphisHA.....enjoy....I find the Memphis State faithful, from Grandma down to junior, to be chippy, bitter, mean spirited and rude, all fueled by a life long inferiority complex. Kick 'Em Sangs!!
Re: MemphisWEAR YOUR SWAG... Just carry a FIRE PASTNER sign and you'll be fine.
As a matter of fact wouldn't it be hilarious if all SMU fans at the game had FIRE PASTNER signs? Party at The Wopper!
Re: MemphisI'd still love to have him recruit for us and learn at the right hand of the Godfather.........
Re: MemphisSo is the conventional wisdom that Pastner is toast after this season, barring a miracle finish? Their program seems to be sliding in the wrong direction.
Re: Memphis
Agreed, especially the life long inferiority complex disguised as arrogance. Born and raised there.
