It's Dolemite....he's either dancing or about to smack one of his many ladies of the evening.....or possibly about to bust some very inflexible kung fu on a cracker.....I'll let you decide
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
Billy B. - Yes SMU is behind. We have all been well aware of it, and until our recent winning streak have believed that nothing much might come of recruiting this year.
Fortunately we did have that winning streak at the end of the season. There is room for some hope but we have to play catchup. We will probably not know how this turns out until signing day(s). So, hold your powder until then and if nothing happens gripe all you want. In the meantime you are just helping to create a self fulfilling prophecy. Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
The fans on this board are the same as the fans at every other school. There is nothing particularly inept about us. Our attitudes don't make a heck of a lot of difference, they don't lose SMU recruits. What has been inept is Kenneth Pye's model. It handicaped the program. This model + the death penalty= Ineptitude Bennett has fought to make some changes. These changes and our record give me some hope for the first time in a long time. Willis to slot receiver!
Can someone please list the regular posters on this board with a legend denoting as to which are sunshiners and which are not?
I'm generally a self-professed crotchety curmudgeon who [deleted] when we lose and who recalls the good ol days of watching "Football Texas Style" on Ch 39 hoping to see an SMU clip. I also can frequently identify with an old Don Nelson sound drop on the The Ticket "they all suck," which he used in his early days with the Mavs. On the other hand, it would be nice to think that maybe, just maybe we'll win a few more. Yes, things need to change. Yes, being places like the SEC champ game a few weeks ago reminds of how small-time SMU has become. Once in awhile, though, it's nice to hope for progress. I don't think that labels anyone a sunshiner. What's more, it's not really that much fun to sit around and [deleted]....all the time anyway.
Billy Joe you have no idea what you are talking about.. I hope Hurst and Holmes are all conference next year and I will personally give you a crow sandwich.. What the hell do you know about recruiting other than negative stuff Stallion post on here.. here is a cliche for you "DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ" The point is we have 13 rides to give out and I hope we get atleast 8 juco's.. that is what we need.. we do not need what rivals says are top 100 recruits.. And when you have done a recruiting season in D1 football then I will listen to you while I am eating a crow sandwich...
I do not know what I am talking about? HHHUUUMM? How many top area or state Texas rivals recuits does SMU have? How many top local players does SMU have? Nice try pal. Keep reading your rivals insider report and let me speak truths. Unlike you guys, I have no ties to the department and I do not care what you posters think about me. In the meantime kiss it where the sun does not shine...
If you think Stallion cares about you opinion -- or mine, or anyone else's -- you haven't been reading this board very long. Hey, I don't always agree with the guy, but you sure don't know him if you think he's cozying up to staff insiders for info. He gets his stuff off rivals and swears by it, and seems to spend a lot of time collecting a lot of info.
