With LB having a vertigo issue and a less than stellar win over UCF, this could be a much tougher game for SMU. On the road against a team that's season would be made by beating SMU and the distractions SMU has, could be a perfect storm.

We need to focus and play very hard and close to error free.

I like the start time. It will allow the team to get back to Dallas that night at a somewhat reasonable time.

ECU fans want the coach to be fired and are very vocal about it on the msg boards. Fans are fed up. My guess is that it will be a lightly attended game.

The biggest risk for a loss in the near term, IMHO, is to a "lesser opponent" on the road. Hard to get "up" for those games. (not that Cincy/Temple/Uconn are "easy" road wins but one would think it would be easier to get "up" for those ones). ECU is one such game. These seniors, though, coupled with the skill and energy of Shake and Jarrey helps me feel less anxious about it.

Bump. Given how low this thread has gotten, it's apparent that the board is consumed with a lot of noise (KF drama, NCAA, etc) right now. Looking forward to getting back to basketball tomorrow.
