There are voters who have said they won't vote for teams that are ineligible for the postseason in the national rankings, like Hall of Fame voters in various sports who won't vote for players who have broken certain rules. Maybe this is the same kind of bias?

Any voter who thinks that way is just an AHOLE.
To punish a kid who has not done one dam thing wrong is unforgivable in my book.
