WTF people rooting for UCONN.
Our goal is going back to back AAC champs.
That means UCONN, Cincy, Memphis, Temple, UH beating up on each other about as evenly as possible.
Go Tulsa (for tonight).

We want the conference to be as strong as possible (not to mention more teams in the tournament directly leads to more money in SMU's pocket). We only have to be 1 game ahead in the standings to win the AAC regular season championship.

I know smupony94.
Our goal is to go back to back regular season champs. Easier path if everyone else beats up on each other.

I think they award two trophies a season champion and a tournament champion

Correct. And we are only in the running for one of them.

I'd like to see us get and maintain a two game edge on the field ASAP. We may be winning but that doesn't change our depth. Sure, it would be nice to run the table but we may need some help from the pack beating up on each other before this is done.

We also want UCONN to be ranked as high as possible when we beat them...Their Beating Tulsa might get them back in the top 25.

Who cares about rankings for the other teams?
Keep winning to keep the perfect streak alive and moving up in the Top 25, but also keep hoping the other AAC teams beat up on each other so we have a cushion when/if we lose.

That older ref doing the UConn/Tulsa game does our games a lot. Not a fan.

Ha! One of the announcers just said "the students weren't here for the SMU game that Tulsa lost 81-69." Len Elmore replied "I don't think they would've helped in that one."

Watching these teams makes me realize what a great passing team SMU is.

Haven't seen UConn's 7 footer Brimah. Is he injured? Off the team?
