UH RPI is weak and they pretty much need to win out to get it in better shape

Definitely approaching one bid territory now.

UConn can maybe afford one more loss to not-SMU.
Cinci doesn't have any really bad losses, but they don't have any great wins either (GW and Tulsa are their best wins). If they don't beat us then they may not have any top 50 wins.
Houston has a good record but very weak schedule. They will probably fall off in conference play.
Temple and Memphis I just don't see being able to pick up enough wins with both being inconsistent.
Tulsa has a win over Wichita St., with no really bad losses. Best SOS number.

Probably the team that finishes second will be the only one with serious consideration, and if they win the tourney that could be it.

That's an amazing statement, but the reality of how far the program has come. Sometimes it's really hard to beleive. Go Mustangs.

We should of had that UConn game if Dedric Lawson didn't implode down the stretch along with Shaq fouling out. Oklahoma would of been a win if we were shooting free throws like we are now. South Carolina was a one sided whistle game.

Overall the roster is set nicely for the next coach (Damon Stoudimire) next season

Planning on the AD calling Fred to ask for buyout money?

Interesting that through first 222 games at Memphis, Pastner has only lost 3 more games than Calipari had at that point and Pastner has more trips to NCAA than Calipari did, just not the trip to the final four.

Whistles have decided a few of the AAC games this year. Unfortunately, I think it will happen to us in a couple of road games this year.

That said, I don't see us losing more than 3 games in conference this season. Teams that are at 2 or 3 losses already aren't going to win the regular season title.

The conference needs Memphis to get back to a top 25 level.

I can't believe it, but with SMU, UConn, Memphis, Cincy, and Temple, the AAC might actually only be a one bid league this year. Crazy!

UConn/UH underway. Embarrassing turnout for a school that thinks it's on the doorstep of the Big 12 playing a bball power.

UConn up 9-4 eight minutes into one of the ugliest games in basketball history. Houston is 1-of-14 from the field.

watching that game reminds me of playground bball. Guys running up and down the floor jacking up ugly shots and forcing the action inside. Really makes you appreciate this year's SMU team
