I don't think this is one of the new ones. This looks like something that was thrown out there a couple of years ago. Ask smupony94 where he got the photo. I think he was showing a bunch of crap from years gone by.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Nope coaches tweeted that yesterday
Must have found it hidden in a closet. The shoulder stripes and small Mustang are quintessential JJ. This was a tweet from February 2014.

Not sure what he means by "Championship uniform" since we haven't had any championships lately. Perhaps he is promising that uniform for StangGang16 when they win one, but won't be one of our normal new unis.
Anyway pretty sure that uni was stuck in a closet somewhere.

Hello football coaches.....please take note that our basketball team isn't changing our colors and I doubt if recruits care. Winning seems to take care of the uniform problem.

No kidding. Alabama seems to be one of the last holdouts on uniforms but somehow they keep getting recruits.
