Harry seems to like attention (what 18 yr old doesnt). Think it would help

I might be in the minority, but I feel like just having a great environment in general is way more important than breaking out special cheers for a recruit. I get having one froling chant but hopefully it does not dominate the cheering.

I agree. Once or twice is enough to make a statement

Yeah, I don't think the chants matter. I think having an awesome crowd in general is far more important.

Arizona (Washington) and Colorado (Oregon) both had big wins and I'm sure great crowds during Froling's visit. I watched the Arizona/Wash game and the crowd was great. We've got be step it up tomorrow night. The bar has been set high.

If you are a dedicated enough fan to be a frequenter of this forum, you need a twitter account in general to follow the SMU reporters.

Harry isnt really a "true 5", either. He's a 3 that grew really big. He's certainly gotten big enough to play the 5 spot, over 250 now, but what makes him special is that he can do alot of things the traditional post player can't. His ball handling, passing, and perimeter shot are what sets him apart. I've watched alot of video on him and when he plays against ordinary high school teams he looks like a grown man playing against little kids. You have to see him running an end-to-end fast break dribbling the ball through a bunch of kids that dont come up to his shoulders, and then stopping at the top of the arc to drain a three. Recently he's been playing on a pro team against older guys, (he doesnt get paid, amateur status intact) and he seems to be posting up more in those games, so he's working on the post game, but most of his life he's played 3 and 4.

Didn't Cincinnati sell out? I'm a bit surprised that ten tickets together are still available at the top of 215. Maybe fewer were given out and Coog fans aren't snapping up huge numbers. I'm confident it'll sell out by game time, especially with students back.

For style of play I would have compared him to Nowitzki before Parsons, but there are overlapping similarities. Harry is getting bigger, he used to be a pencil, but his build is finally catching up to his height. He'll have to adjust to a more physical game in the US, but he's played enough internationally and at events like Adidas Nations, that he should be able to make the adjustment.

Sometimes its hard to tell with international kids, one of Harrys former teammates is a freshman at Kentucky this year, and he's struggling. It might be a mistake to expect too much, too soon. But Harry brings a special skillset to the game.

Harry ought to be happy - Dallas won in overtime and the Dirkster had a double double.
He hit 19 points in the 4th qtr and overtime. Couple that with a great crowd and a win
over a good Houston Cougar team and I think Harry is coming here, but then, I'm a crazy
Mustang Maniac.
