looks like the same loyal 2-300 that's been out for the 1st few games.

Good to see BHop hit that 1st shot, but poor form and balance on that fall-a-way

It was nice to turn on all-access and see the Mustangs winning big. Not so nice to see a sparse crowd.

How is it that for fb broadcasts we were stuck with the away team's announcers on the broadcast but for bb we can get Rich?

About the only thing missing is no Craig Swann for the bball broadcast.

What was the final score? The gametracker locked up on me.
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

Stayed to the end but do not remember the final score, 80 something to 40 something, I believe. This was an opponent that was blown out by A$M saturday hitting only 9 field goals. Ryan Hopkins played the last 8 minutes. A good practice for Hop to get back in shape. There was a tall, athletic looking young guy in a Lincoln letter jacket who watched the entire game with three friends. Wonder who he was?

you guys have nothing positive to say about the best shooting night in SMU history? I know Sav State is bad, but almost everyone looked good and knocked down shots. Hopkins looked great physically, much stronger and less heavy than the past few years. He got off to a good start tonight and the team really looked much more confident with him out there. As for A&M, if they are the measuring stick, they only beat this team by 33 and only put up 67 points against them on Saturday.

Well, SMU did look good and any lopsided win is a great win. It is also obvious that Hop is the heart of this team and it looked greatly improved with him in the game. That being said, Sav. State was in my opinion real bad (believe it is 1-12 now) so it is difficult for me to judge the true effect Hop's return will have until we play some good competition. Hopefully, tonight's performance will be the catalyst for a great season.

Anyone know what was up with Ritter? He was in street clothes and did not even sit on the bench, he was back with the students, or at least the 3 that were there.

I heard it was only for 1 game, but we will see

Also, I dont know if anyone has mentioned this already, but Matt Williams had ankle surgery, so he won't be around for a while

Announcers said he was out for violating team rules and was out indefinitely.

That is also what the DMN said today. Indefinite suspension. Last year in a few games Ritter looked like he had the tallent to play. Does he have an attitude problem?

We have to find a way to get Morris in the starting lineup. After going to many of the home games this season I must say that this kid is a stud. Very efficient. Rack played well last night, but has been pretty useless the rest of the season. And don't get me started on Ike. The new starting five should be Dez, Hop, Roberts, Pearson or Morris, Morris or Rack. This kid has to play more minutes.

I agree, Morris is money when he's near the basket. I just wish he could drop a few more pounds and replace it with muscle.

Epps has a nice shooting stroke, too -- has to shoot more.

Hop looked good. He's a scorer, of course, but he didn't force up a bunch of silly shots (and twice he got hacked when hitting a 3 -- he should have had two four-point plays). Roberts might benefit more than anyone from Hop's return, knowing he and Pearson don't have to score all the points for us to win.

Ponies set a school record last night, shooting over 69 percent -- that's awesome no matter who you're playing.

I think Rack has come along nicely this year. Savannah State was small, but once again, he's showing that he's gotten much better on the defensive end with another three blocks -- is that the third time he's done that this year?
