I heard them announce hiim as Savannah State's coach and I knew his name but couldn't figure out where he had played. Turns out he was on Georgetown's '83-'84 National Championship team with Patrick Ewing, Sleepy Floyd, Fred Brown, et al.

Which is tougher -- getting through a John Thompson practice, or coaching those scrubs? He looked like a beaten man last night.

One thing that's tougher is having to live with that name. Sounds like a Dr. Suess character.
