We simply did not play very smart this second half. Too many trips down the court with out a shot, bad fouls and failed to run the offense.

Pretty sure there was a 12 or 14 point run by Houston in the 2nd half. Can't allow that on the road and not respond immediately. Can't put ourselves in the position to allow the ref's to take it from us against a team we should beat.

Refs were terrible but we just couldn't buy a basket for a 10 minute stretch despite getting great looks.

I called it a couple weeks ago when I said I full expect the officiating to get worse the longer we're in front in the conference race. Our winning the regular season title and beating up on the eligible teams hurts the league's chances of getting a bigger check by putting multiple teams into the NCAA tournament.
