Adding WSU would be a further erosion of the AAC. After next year, their basketball is going to return to where it's been for the last 30 years. They're not going to add 170 schollies for Title IX.

Although I have been told that they were "never" going to be on the list of possible B12 candidates, the people in Conn seem convinced that they will be in a P5 conference pretty soon.

Man if we lose UC that will be a pretty big blow to the conference. If Big12 is looking for another conference mate then hopefully its not Houston. If so, our conference will be in the G6 for a long time.

The candidates are BYU and UC (from what I'm hearing from SEC people - and neither are that great). It's not a done deal.

I'd go BYU football only and then UC if I had to add 2 schools right now. FWIW...which is not much.

Reed, what's the general view about Big-12 expansion amongst the TCU powers-that-be?
