I see 4-ish wins next year. Maybe Tulsa. Not sure I see us beating ECU on the road. The only "expectation" I'm going to put on these guys is beating Liberty at home. If we don't win the Liberty game. . .I'm going to freak out!

I agree with sbs except I think we win Tulsa on the road. 4 wins. Outside shot of USF at home.

Anyone dreaming of our D stopping Navy in the last game next year is just that - dreaming. That said - I think 2017 starts a long stretch of us beating them, respectfully of course.

This conference schedule does us zero favors. I really wonder how hard we fight for these things in the room.

Our scheduling consistently kicks us in the balls.

This. I know we always try to avoid Red River BS, but we need to use our whammy for the Sat after Thanksgiving.

They get a bye before that game while we get a short week coming back from Philly.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Well, we have an away game for Texas OU weekend. There's our favor.

4 wins.

Liberty BETTER not be a top 5 FCS school?!? (I haven't checked yet).

And [deleted] Houston. I hope OU curb stomps them!

How hard do they fight? About as hard as one can whilst simultaneously grabbing their ankles. Bush league we are talking here

Pretty much. Easily less than 5k for Saturday after Thanksgiving.
A decent chunk of the 1500 could be in New York for the MSG bball tourney the Saturday before.

We aren't going to regress from this past season's 2 wins.

The expectations should be for a 5 or 6 win season, because the offense has more playmakers (but will still be inconsistent because of the o line), the defense will have an influx of better skilled players without losing anybody (and lawler and gentry will continue to take strides forward), and the conference won't be as good as it was this season.

A three win improvement for an improved team against a weaker conference and with Liberty << JMU seems like a pretty reasonable expectation.
