You're going to be sad. We will be unranked next Monday and it would take a meltdown of epic proportions for us to finish first.
That game went about how I thought it would.
My only wish left for the year is that we win senior night at Moody for Nic.

Unpopular opinion time, a conference win and ranking was a pipe dream this season. Seven on the bench and our tallest big at 6'9" will never translate to those goals. I'm glad our underclass men are getting valuable experience, better off next year for us.

OFFICIAL GAME 25: SMU vs. UCONN Thread

The no appeal strategy is looking better given the fade at the end of the season with seven man rotation. Hard to see how we would have had any success in the conference tournament or made a run in the NCAA. Support our seniors these last few games as they have given us so much these last 3 years.

That ones on LB. Playing inside/out with two bigs who can't score over their shoulders, vs a kid like Brimah, is flawed. Sterling/shake/Ben/Nic were all shooting very well, but all we do is dump to the block, so skill less bigs do nothing

Agree, that was very confusing. Tolbert was killing us down there and we just continued to feed him. He is a shell of the first 12 games Tolbert unfortunately, just no legs left it seems.

All Tolbert has ever done this year is dunk.

that's all he's ever done in his whole career-he is what he is. We had that video of just about every basket in his Texas Tech career-90% were within 3-5 feet

Tolbert is fantastic as long as there is no inside D. By the way - he will look fantastic when we play Uconn and win at home.

hard to believe but B. Moore outrebounded Brimah 12 to 8 and had more than Tolbert and Kennedy put together. Good to see him step up in a big road game. He came to play

No idea how the rest of the conference fares, but we will win out at home and lose at Cincinnati - Is what it is .
