well thats because our schedule got harder. Its not that hard to figure out. Its tough winning on the road, as connecticut is about to find out.

taking an option on Semi didn't help-main thing to focus on is bridging the gap

Overreact much? This fanbase is ridiculous sometimes.

I admit it! I am stupid about basketball (and if I wasn't sitting beside Mrydel at football games and having him advise me, I'd be stupid at football too!)

We will win the next 4 and lose our last. 25-5 is not bad.

Because Brimah has a history of getting foul trouble and it spaces the floor.

It was the smart strategy... just didnt work.

We knew before the season started that we didn't have length down low. Some on here underestimated how big of a loss Moreira and Cunningham were

Kennedy and Tolbert are doing what they can.

As husky points out - they were feeding Tolbert to try to get that 4th foul. If we would have been able to get their big out of the game, we might have won. With him in there protecting the basket and getting every board - we were in big trouble.

Great game Husky. Uconn put it all together last night.

In basketball, you win and lose games in the paint. Its that simple. If you can't score in the paint, you lose unless you have one of those insane games where everything from the outside goes in. 90% of the time, its about rebounding, blocking out, and forcing outside shots and making inside shots when you have them or getting fouled doing it.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Yep. Tough loss, but it's no easy task to win at UCONN. I hate losing, but it's not the end of the world. Some of those layups that Markus and JT had that didn't go in were gut-wrenching. They weren't bad shots but just rimmed out. We'll get 'em at home. We gotta find a way to win the last 5 - even at Cincy.

back loaded schedule and finishing this season short handed...that's not a good combination for success. Still a good season, all things considered and I will say that even if we finish 23-7, which remains possible. Hope for the seniors' sake these guys can finish strong
