I would think that our astute faculty could come up with a way for our country's chemical importers to launder proceeds through our Athletic Department to enable it to build an IPF. If the NCAA gets nosy we tell them it's part our diversity program.

Or if any of you had actually talked to Coach Morris at the signing day event you'd know what's going on with the IPF.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Then again, when we ask what Chad expects and what might keep him and what might turn him on or off.. Well, if you can't write an IPF check, write this one and when they want 100 people at an event, be one of them.

Shameless plug, yes. If interested - and if youre on this board and in Dallas you should be - shoot me a pm.

If they'll let me pay in pennies, I could very well be in!!!

If it's that common knowledge then please enlighten us simpletons. You cannot blame people for drawing obvious conclusions based on the information they have. Get off your high horse and spill the wealth of knowledge you claim to have or shut up. It does not good to say "if only you knew as much as I did, you'd be less pathetic then."

You raise a fair concern, but SMT is trying to illustrate that you don't have to be a "Skull and Crossbones" Secret Society member to know what's going on. There are lunches, open meetings, and cheap pay sites that make much of this information credibly available. If you don't live in Dallas and you refuse to spend money on pay sites, then you'll need to wait for info to wash out timely. That's fine, just use common sense until then.

In past years, my parking for the football games was in the parking lot next to the soccer stadium. That parking lot will not be available this fall. Hmmmm, wonder what could be the reason for that. Isn't the IPF to be built where the soccer stadium is now? Just a guess, but I think the IPF construction is about to start...perhaps this summer or fall.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I have said many times, including in this thread that the IPF will be built when the money is raised. I do not subscribe to any of the pay sites. I did speak directly to the AD. I do not understand from where the confusion comes.

I make propositions to try and not end sentences in prepositions.

My point was that if you see confusion or misinformation then clear it up or cease commenting on it. Don't talk about how much you hate this board and call "outsiders" battered wives. If it bothers SMT that much then add something productive to clear up the misunderstanding. I'm content with waiting for the news to break because I can find other ways to bring myself utility than subscribing to scout or any other related sites. In the mean time I'll call it as I see it.
