Re: USA Today: Top 10 Schools for D1 Men's BasketballANYTHING GOOD in a national publication about an SMU sports program is good in view of our present difficulties with the NCAA and the reminders of the DP. But for a topflight basketball recruit and especially a one and done prospect like Mudiay does anything matter much except that Coach Brown is there right now?
I did think it a very good short statement about Larry Brown.
Re: USA Today: Top 10 Schools for D1 Men's Basketballnice free publicity

Re: USA Today: Top 10 Schools for D1 Men's BasketballIt is kind of funny they would have us ranked higher than UCLA and Indiana in terms of basketball + academics.

Re: USA Today: Top 10 Schools for D1 Men's BasketballI'll take the pub for sure! But it's a little dubious seeing Kentucky and Arizona on the list if they are talking about bball plus academics. But, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Doubtful, but maybe.
Love it though! I'll tweet it out, and I encourage everyone else to do the same!

Kentucky and Arizona are decent schools. Top 150.

Don't know about Indiana, but ucla undergrad is really not that great. The true strength of ucla is post grad. My SMU experience was way better than taking classes with a hundred classmates. Go Ponies!

Great article - except McClements as been gone for a year. How do they get the coach wrong - have we not updated Wikipedia? What has happened to so called journalism? An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and
doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
Re: USA Today: Top 10 Schools for D1 Men's BasketballUCLA is an elite institution and Indiana is one of the better public schools in the country. Good company to keep in both.
Back off Warchild seriously.
