Re: Ted KapitaIn my opinion, Sterling will be the go to guy next season. He won't be Nic, but I believe he will be the guy we look to during crunch time.
Re: Ted KapitaIt seems like sometimes Shake lacks confidence in his shot, but other times, he knows he's deadly. I just want to see the latter for a full 40 minutes at some point. I have enjoyed the looks this year with him bringing it upcourt as teh 1 and letting Nic play off the ball. Need to see a little more of that a week from Thursday.

Re: Ted Kapita
There is a reason, however, that Nic and Shake are the only two players on the team with a green light. For LB to give the green light to a true frosh when he took his time easing players like Ben and Sterling into the mix should tell everyone on here how special Shake can be.
Re: Ted KapitaIs someone here assuming Brown doesn't have a green light? He does, it just isn't in his DNA. He is a spot up shooter not a creator of his own shot at this point. Shake can create his own shot. Keep in mind most freshman are inconsistent because of the adjustment to travel and school work etc. He also defers at times because Nick is the leader.....They haven't had this much responsibility before certainly in HS. This is why it is favorable to redshirt. Shake will be fine next season.

Re: Ted KapitaI would like to see him shoot more too...............But when a guy gets near him he isn't as good. You leave him unattended and he will kill you dead.

When some guards Sterling close and he drive to the basket he is almost unstoppable. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: Ted KapitaSterling is a stud and stone cold killer don't get me wrong but he's too slow to play that ISO role hoop is talking about. I completely agree. That role requires speed, handles, and a killer attitude. As shocking as this sounds we have solid front court and some shooters for sure (shake/sterling/Wilson/ I think McDowell). Just missing that one cat and we will be ridiculous!
Re: Ted KapitaFunny how long it's been since this thread about Kapita has mentioned Kapita...
