I think Hoop's explanation probably fits many high school seniors with multiple offers, Turner as mentioned, and what is the name of the local that went to A&M with multiple big time offers and recently left. There are reasons only the coaching staff knows. I trust them, and with all due respect, unless you are of a Brown pedigree you probably aren't in the know. Article in the paper today says he will make his decision next week that he is undecided.

You shouldn't be out he is the top center in the country and coveted by every basketball school. He is at Desoto HS.

You get him we contend for a national championship. I realize he is offered by the big boys, but he is local and look what we have done. I hope we make a run at him and show him our class with Shake and our Duke transfer. Immediate starter, immediate contender, immediate top 10. Get it done Larry!

He's not an immediate starter, he's just a highly ranked kid, whose ceiling won't be reached at SMU. He wouldn't stay long enough see Myles Turner. There are reasons we're not hunting that kid, that simple. Even if we were, he has half the motor of Bruno Fernando who is from our backyard in Angola.

Stars mean everything, which is why we're about to offer Boldens ship to a 2star PG from really far away. Sure, they see tons of Nic Moore in him, but whatever.

Keith Frazier had some stars and was by far the worst kid in his recruiting class. You know who else had stars, Crandall Head. The notion that Bolden automatically starts over any of Semi, Ben, Kapita, HarryFro, flys in the face of what LB is all about. Both those kids are top 50 type players, which means they're right there w Bolden, who isn't particularly polished.
