Kennedy has the best post moves of any player in the country

Postby Rebel10 » Fri Feb 26, 2016 8:29 am

I have noticed this for the past couple of years but just have never really said anything about it. The up and under, the fake and pivot, etc etc. These are moves that you just don't see very much today by post players. And to tell you the truth you don't see it a lot in the pro either. And he does them so well that you can tell that he learned them long time ago probably in his high school years. But whatever the case I just wanted to give the young man some accolades on that. Keep up the good work Markus.

Agree. He is like a young olajuwon without the length.

Might want to tap the breaks there. He is an excellent player for us, but not the best in the country by any stretch.

He is a 4 playing a 5. Has to rely on quickness and toughness at his side. A little Malik Rose in his game.

I did not say best player, I said best post moves. Names 4 players with better inside post moves?

I've seen all of those guys play and they do not have the moves MK has. They might be more talented but they do not have the full arsenal of post moves he has.

He needs the moves to compensate for his 3 inch vertical. He is super effective just has no lift.

This list lost all credibility when you put Shaq in there, no moves/shot whatsoever...pure size/power game. I still relish Olajuwon schooling him in the finals when the Rockets swept the Magic.

MK has been a relative bust this year. I appreciate everything he's done for us, but honestly he was better when he had another 20 pounds on him.

I guess you can call him a bust if you want, or you can bring up the fact that he has fought through a serious ankle sprain for most of the season. When he wasn't on the court he was in a walking boot the last couple of months. Most guys would not have even tried to play but MK knew the team had to have him. I was told his ankle is still only about 70% healed, and won't get back to 100% until he takes an extended amount of time off. For his efforts he gets called a bust, that's nice.

You don't like the "Black Tornado" move?

I agree though - Hakeem was the absolute best...ever.

Some of these are just sick...
