I understand why he's not on the list, but Sasser was a 1st round NBA draft pick. Surprised he hasn't been mentioned.
The problem is Terrell, Krebs and Koncak were all centers.

So, if you go by position:
Krebs Center
N. Moore - Point Guard
Gene Philips 2 guard

Power Forward and 3 position?
I guess perhaps
Quinton Ross 3
Markus Kennedy PF

If you go by best 5 ever regardless of position.
Krebs, IT, N. Moore, Philips, and Koncak.
2nd team: Carl Wright, Quinton Ross, Sasser, MK, and Kato.

He was all-WAC his senior year, and yeah he had a good senior year. But not even close to an all time great, even taking out players before 2001. He was not a good 3pt shooter (33%), not a very good FT shooter (69%), not a great distributor for someone who was playing at the point (2.5 APG), not a great defender (0.8 SPG, 4 career blocks). He was a good player, not great, and basically one dimensional as a guy who could cut to the basket and score.

He said his list came from 2001 to present. I would not include him on my all-2001 to present team but I don't think it is ridiculous for someone to have him on their greats during that time period. He is 10th all-time on SMU's scoring list. BTW, I never thought he was poor defender and he never had a lot of assists because many possessions he was the only option to shoot. His junior and senior years he was the offense. Are you basing him being a poor defender on his steals and blocks averages?

I didn't say he was a poor defender, just not great. Ross was the better defender on that team, the better rebounding G, and should have been Hancock's primary target on offense, instead of getting his own shot. Again, picking Hancock over Sterling Brown or Ben Moore is silly.

*BTW Nic has 5 blocks in 3 seasons, Hancock had 4 in 4 seasons with 7 inches of height advantage. You should at least luck into one now and then.
