Tulsa Gets Arizona Kick-Back from Dallas Kimball

Postby Stallion » Thu Dec 22, 2005 10:35 am

DE Jameon Hardeman of Dallas Kimball. Signed with Arizona St. last year-didn't qualify until after the fall. Decided to go to Tulsa instead. Also had offers originally from Colorado, Tech, and Utah. Its what I call "cutting the corners" and everybody in Texas that we play does it better than we do.

Stallion,

Please tell us, if you can, who has transferred to SMU this year in football. It would be much appreciated.

Ferguson & Dent...sorry, you didn't ask me, but it is on smumustangs.com player roster. If anyone else has, they have not announced it since.

Who's Dent?

Does Jason Rowan (6-4, 220) count on this list? He transferred from Carson Newman. I'd heard he might be switching positions, but according to the school's website, he's still listed at quarterback.

Answered my own question. From SMUMustangs.com:

Josh Dent

Class:
Sophomore

Hometown:
McKinney, Texas

High School:
McKinney

Last College:
Arkansas

Height / Weight:
6-0 / 190

Position:
WR

Experience:
SO-TR

A transfer from Arkansas.

Prep: An All-District wide receiver...Had 24 catches for 480 yards and 10 carries for 105 yards as a senior... A two-year letterman... Also considered Arkansas.

Might as well be. Seems all their recruits come from the DFW area.

I haven't even found Dent on an Arkansas football roster. Maybe he was on the equestrian team, but he certainly wasn't recruited or a scholarship player at the University of Arkansas. The other is the Ferguson kid from Northwestern. I was the FIRST one to mention Ferguson on this board so don't act like I'm ignoring him. Be we all know this dispute isn't about transfers from Northwesternm beating our brains in.

Stampede- BTW I'm still waiting on someone-someone like you who knows to tell us how many of these JUCOs were denied by the SMU admissions office. Flynn? Haugabook?, Johnson?, heck maybe even Dana. Why did we drop off that Kansas CB Alonzo Wilson that's looking at Tulsa, UCF and others. If you want to argue the merits with me then let's let all the facts come out so everyone can judge for themselves. Guys we targeted went to UCF, Louisiana Tech, East Carolina and Marshall-those aren't BCS schools. What happened?

stallion, why don't you call somebody in the athletic department and ask them that question. I am sure they will be happy to accomodate your request.

We're patroling the wrong border. Guards should be posted on the Red River, the Sabine River and all along the Texas/New Mexico border!

MM 65,

Two big a perimeter! For the purpose in mind you'd have to patrol the borders of Dallas County!

Thanks for pointing that out, in case it's true. I was starting to forget that you were the all-knowing. I'll sleep more easily now. (We get it. You follow this stuff.)
