If Gu can rehab successfully and be physically ready to play next year, keep in mind he will be in his 3rd year in the program and if healthy, I fully expect him to contribute. Will be interesting to see how they use Semi. Hopefully he will be as versatile as Ben Moore but I can't imagine another big who can handle like Ben does. Sterling can play the 2 or 3 as can Jarrey and it looks like the incoming Frosh are guards and post guys. Key will be how well they defend and see the floor, i.e., how well they can pass and move the ball. That's been the trademark of this team and it's really fun to watch when we move the ball side to side and inside/out. If Gu does come back, we are already basically 2 deep at every spot on the floor so LB and Jank will have to juggle minutes. I would hope nobody will have to go more than 35 minutes so that will seem like a real luxury.

A guy on ESPN says that he spoke to Bolden on 1/25 and he said Kentucky, Kansas, and Duke hasnt made his mind up. Last week in the Dallas News he said he would make it this week. I just hope maybe we snuck in, wishful thinking.

We need to pull off one more big. We also need the NCAA buttheads to give us back 3 scholarships of file suit for being unfair comparing it to other punishments.

This lineup would be sick- Shake is smallest one at 6'5" and Semi playing the wing at 6'8"? Length and athleticism all over the perimeter. And I think Kapita, with a prep school year under his belt, will be able to bang down low with most of our opponents' big men.

And waiting on the bench you've got:

Froling
Jarrey
McDowell
Tom Wilson

I think we may start off slower than the past two seasons because we're acclimating so many new guys into the system, but once conference play rolls around I think this will be a really solid team

This team will be the most talented of LB's, how that translates will be interesting and fun to watch. Dont get me wrong, I love the seniors. However, these are my favorite seasons. So many unknowns to discover

The only thing I question I what happens if Gu does come back? Do you move Semi to the 4 or redshirt Wilson?

Nobody is going to get redshirted with 10 scholarship players

Athleticism and skill will be there for sure, I get concerned about chemistry and leadership though. Nic and MK were SOOO special.

My lineup, in priority of importance:

Sterling
B. Moore
Shake
Semi
Kapita

Heavy rotations of Jarrey, Froling, MacDowell (and possibly Wilson).

I really hope we can still pick up a speedy/sick handles/high IQ PG for this incoming class (moreso than another big). If he can shoot, even better.

So I've watched as much tape as I can find on Kapita and he reminds me of a slightly taller JT. Not sure if his bball IQ is as high, but from what I can see, it looks like he has some range/can shoot also.

Wilson is a shooting guard why would he be redshirted?

Also, I read up on kapita when he committed and he is said to be an "athlete" meaning running the open floor is his strength. I am not automatically certain that he is a low post player according to scouting reports.

If Gu is here, we have 7 people rotating into 3 spots. That is why I was thinking redshirt. It becomes too hard to manage time.

JT is 5th year senior so of course kapita basketball IQ will not be as high. tha
