SID: Mustang Club Dues Email

Postby Crong » Wed Mar 09, 2016 3:24 pm

I received my Mustang Club email today. I haven't heard anything about next season's basketball season tickets. Has anyone heard anything about re-seating? I want my same seats (or David Miller's if the school is inclined to give them to me). The re-seating situation a few seasons ago has me cautious when making the donation before the seat purchase or a same seat guarantee.

You have reason to be concerned. Good question.

There's no longer a market for that action. To be honest I go to maybe half the games and was thinking it'd be less expensive for me to purchase them on StubHub.

I did however phone Matt Peters and ask him to email me confirmation that I am guaranteed the same seats and if there is any planned increase prior to me blindly making my donation.

Last year my seats tripled

Good point. If they planned on a re-seating (blind auction), I was weighing a StubHub/box office plan. If tickets were available leading up to the the UConn game, I wouldn't expect next season's demand to be much greater if at all.

Yall are idiots. Pony up for seats you can count on . You aren't going to miss it. Just cut back on a cocktail every weekend and you have basically paid for them.

I haven't heard of any re-seating for next season. Same prices as this past season from everything I've gotten from the AD.
