What teams are griping the most about not getting in?

Monmouth. No respect for a tough non-conference slate. We'll see if they can justify the # 1 seed in NIT

wonder if Memphis will buy a post-season game in the CBI? Probably not much interest from a fan base that has much higher expectations.

Monmouth. Reminds me of another team that deserved to dance two years ago.
Just wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted them in, but they are different from the SMU snub in that they play in a very weak conference. Further, unless I'm missing something, they only got 3 wins over NCAA tourney teams (Notre Dame, USC, and Iona). That's not really the same as our season 2 years ago. With Monmouth, there's an argument to be made either way. With SMU 2 years ago, no logical argument could be made.

I was really just referring to the same WTF DO WE HAVE TO DO? feeling both teams must have felt. The little guyscare told to schedule tough OOC games. Monmouth is the poster child for that. They played on the road every OOC game except one. Are they better than any of the at large teams in? Maybe not. But they earned a spot just like we did two seasons ago. Texas Tech, Syracuse, Michigan and Tulsa got gifts ahead of Monmouth and St Bonaventure.
