I'd be curious to know what Larry did to ensure the school held up its end of the bargain, or more that it was RGT at that point (Orsini on the way out) and just said please come, and Larry being Mr. BSD would have torn the school a new one if they dared hamper his style.

I have always suspected that Larry just started doing his thing and essentially dared them to stop him.
