Most Overrated Conference

Too soon to tell but Big 12 seems overrated. Again. Four teams lost to lower seeds in opening round. I'm beginning to wonder how good OU and KU really are.

Big 12 may be overrated but they are still a top 2 conference and it isn't even close.

Looks like Pac-12 is most overrated with 4 upset losses (Big 12 honorable mention with 3), and West Coast and Missouri Valley most underrated as each have 2 upset wins.

You really think that they are better than two out of the group of the ACC, Big East, and Big 10? Their tournament record does not support the idea that they are a top two conference over the past two or three years.

ACC is the best. Then the Big 12 is a distant 2nd. Oklahoma, the third best team in the league beat Nova by 20 at a neutral site.

But the gap between the ACC and Big 12 is huge.

Big 12 a close second for over rated. I think Oklahoma goes down soon…hopefully to A&M.

I still think it is very possible that both Villanova and Xavier make the Final Four. If that happens kudos to the Big East. I think that is the toughest conference to win on the road in.
