I'd love a little UCLA revenge as long as we are thinking about the west.

OSU or OU would be nice considering we've been grabbing some OK guys recently

But yes it would be great for us to play any of those schools...

Sorry but that would be a "fly-to" list.

Here is the "drive-to" list: St Johns, Rutgers, Monmouth, Syracuse, St Joe's.

Do you all really think that Wichita State is a long term Basketball Power?

They have gone to the tourney just 6 times in last 30 years (yes - 5 of those in last 5 years). But are they really a long-term BBall power like some that have sustained success over time:

Over the last 30 years - a few teams come to mind that have made the tourney more than WSU:

New Mexico has gone to tourney 12 times.
UNLV has gone 11 times - mutliple final fours.
Tulsa has gone 10 times with same # of Sweet 16s at WSU.
Western KY has gone 10 times with muti sweet 16s.
Utah State has gone 9 times.
Dayton has gone 8 times making elite 8 once.
UAB has gone 8 times.
Creighton has gone 7 times.
St. Louis has gone 7 times.

I would go after New Mexico, UNLV, and Dayton before betting on Wichita State.

In regards to Wichita State take a look at their attendance over the last 10 years how much they pay their coach and who their major donors are

Wichita St makes a lot more sense than those other schools. As 94 pointed out, they have made the financial commitment and they have great support. Plus, they reached the final four a couple of years ago. They are making noise once they get in.

Also, with most of those other schools you'd have to add football too, and that does nothing for the profile of the conference.
