Wow that Mykul Mitchell kid that kept waiting all year on a commitable offer ran a 10.66 100 Meters one of the best this year in Texas-that's about .70 better than his best time last year. He probably could have had a bunch of offers if he ran that last year

We have several that are on Relay teams that have Texas Top 10 or 20 times but they are not running individual events. Schools like Cedar Hill have so many great sprinters they have runners specialize in the Relays

I wonder why Josh Shelmire didn't run track this year-I think he had some problems with muscle pulls early in last football season

Cedar Hill 4x100 Relay Team ran a season best 41.04 at District Meet. Didn't list runners but Eric Sutton has been running on team all year. 8th best in Texas-times are coming down significantly

Brandon Benson is running track but the sites I rely on don't report La Vega's results (4A). He was part of the winning District 4x100 Relay Team. May get more information as they move to regional meets

He only ran relays at districts so you won't see him in any individual events henceforth. I don't think he's run anything but relays all year anyway.

I read an article from Waco that suggested Benson was recently added to the Relay team. Anyway that is the 4th best Time 4x100 Meter Relay Time in Texas 4A this year so they may have a shot at the State Tournament. Of course, those times aren't really competitive to say the top 6A or 5A Relay Teams which are some of the best in the United States. 7 of the Top 10 4X100 Meter High School Relay teams in the United States are from Texas

Patrick Jones won his District Shot Put Championship by over 10 feet with a throw of 53-2.50 but it wasn't his personal best which is 54-5.25 (27th best in Texas this year)
