Frog Snob, your TCU basketball team is terrible! When is your athletic department going to raise its commitment to its teams so that it can compete with cross town rival SMU?
First football, now basketball. SMU needs a better effort from TCU so that it can gain some benefit from playing its cross town rival in preparation for conference play. I think Savannah State beats TCU by 15!
Truthfully, I believe that D-Rob, Morris, Dez, and Pearson were especially bad tonight. I have seem them play many games and this was by far the worst showing I have ever seen individually from each of them. Epps, Bamba, Killeen, and Ike - well let's just say they were not very good in their limited roles. Rack was great on the boards but that was offset by his silly fouls and ineptitude offensively. Offensively, SMU had no clue what to do as they were just standing arund waiting for B-Hope to throw up another three, as happens sometimes when one guy is making threes from 30 feet. With nobody in ryhthm offensively, nobody wanted to take the big shot at crunch time and it showed.
But poor TCU! Even with the worst showing of the year by 9 of 10 players, TCU was worse. Missed layups, free throws, and horrid shooting. I watched your Frogs in the pre-game warmups and I told my son that TCU can't hit anything.
So, I'm sorry for you, Frog Snob. Football, basketball, everywhere you look SMU has beaten your poor froggies on the athletic field of play. What is the problem with the TCU Model for Athletics?! I pity you and I know you are embarrassed to be a frog.
(Wow, that really felt good!)

I am disappointed that we weren't able to get more offense our of Pearson and Roberts when TCU went to the box-and-1 defense on Hop. We've got to have someone else step up, because you know other teams are going to key on Hop. OU might double-team him everywhere. The other guys, starting with Pearson and Roberts, HAVE to produce more.
Original Frank, don't forget women's soccer. Beat TCU there, too.

A win is a win, but I wouldn't be talking [deleted]. That was probably the worst game of basketball I have ever seen. Yes B-Hop was insane, but our team as a whole was pitiful. This is the first game I've seen this year so I will hope it was just an off night, but if we can't produce a scorer other than B-Hop Oklahoma might beat us by half-a-hundred.

Surely we're creative enough to come up with our own catchphrase, aren't we? How about:
• "And you live in Fort Worthless, too!"
• "We got in!"
Etc., etc.
Anyone got some more (and hopefully better) ones?

I was able to get home in time to watch the second half from a prior committment which was from what I heard the ugliest part of the game. However, it pointed out something that Tubbs will need to prepare for, the box and one. They covered B-Hop with a man and then dared us to put it inside. We need a closer inside who can ring up buckets from inside the paint 75% of the time to free up Hopkins. That will be the challenge to this team. Until we do, things will be pretty ugly.

We also need someone who can grab offensive rebounds more consistently. I don't know how many times we missed shots and either didn't have anyone in position for the rebound, or they would be there but they would fumble the rebound and it would kick out to a TCU player.

TCU is a 3.5 pt dog tonight at home to (5-5) Saint Mary's.....Saint Mary's has played a fairly tough schedule and did beat Nevada, but that's pretty sad to be an underdog at home to a school at that level.
