Exactly what I was thinking.

Add an experienced Courtland Sutton, plus Benson plus Proche/Castille plus Hampton plus Rau (plus Thomas? hopefully, and wow! Give me an OL and we might be good actually (oh, wait, our highest ranked recruit in 2017 so far is an OT - Ali - meanwhile we have Kadarius Smith and Todora hittin the weights in the wings). Never mind, forget the "might" on offense then. Defense? Eh, that's another story. (Oh, wait, we have 2 huge DL commits coming in -- Mclaurin and the juco kid -- plus big 'un Patrick Jones plus bookends in 2017 in Toby and Loveless). Secondary? Got some speed in this 2016 class and 2 already in 2017. What I'm seeing is a mammoth hole in LB then. Oh, wait, we got Jordan Ward and a few that need to hit the weights. So, we need LBs and secondary depth. Throw in another solid OL and DL or 2 in stangang17 and let's do this.

Maybe a bowl run in 2017 isn't looking too far fetched after all.

Loving how the class is shaping up this year. We may hit a top 40-50 composite class

2015 Spring Scrimmages Highlites for D.J. Gillins from Wisconsin

Big, strong kid with excellent top flight speed and athleticism especially for a big QB-but he's a little uncomfortable in the pocket and tends to scramble too soon. He can throw the ball downfield though. Threw some nice balls including about 4 TDs against Big 10 level defense which is more than I saw from our present QBs at Spring Game. A lot to work with-a lot of work to go too. Definitely has physical ability to run Morris' offense though. I would think this video would interest a lot of schools
