Baylor expected to make defensive coordinator Phil Bennett interim coach, per source. Kendall Briles to remain on staff as of now.

There is nothing you can pin on Briles that cannot be pinned on Bennett, unless you want to argue Briles didn't supervise Bennett or give him support in dealing with these issues. Lots of these players were defensive players.

And it is a moot point, but that was the only argument you could make to keep Briles and can Ken Starr. Somehow, Starr failed to manage Briles and make Briles aware of the school's responsibilities and create an environment of Title IX compliance. However, the odds of that flying were nill.
