Re: Charlie Brewer3rd Texas Top 100
No. 94 on Scout No. 85 on Lone Star Recruiting (Texas Rivals) 3 star on both Rivals, Scout and 247Sports Offers: Southern Miss Hawaii Bowling Green Louisiana-Monroe North Texas 257-376 (68.3%) for 3426 42 TDs 5 Ints and ran for 570 yards on 95 attempts still actively being recruited by schools like Arkansas, Colorado, Boise and others. Schools are trying to get him to visit to check whether he has grown. He's been measured at 6-1 1/4 recently and has gained about 30 pounds and now is at about 194. He had ridiculous stats in his first full year as starter hitting 257-376 (68.3%) for 3426 42 TDs 5 Ints and ran for 570 yards on 95 attempts. Has run the SMU offense since he was in 9th grade. 16-1 as a Starter-only loss in 6A State Championship. Also was runner up QB in Texas 7x7 State Championship losing on last play of the game-this was before he was ever a full-time starter for Lake Travis "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Charlie Brewer CommitsAustin Local Bag Man smupony94 gets his 2nd commitment but screwed the pooch and announced on the wrong board so I'll move this over here. You can't count on 94 to post in the right place-he's a rebel and a non-conformist. smupony94 uses secret architectural plans for the Smupony94/Stallion Memorial Outdoor Bikini Pool, Tanning Lounge and Beer Garden to close on Travis County Recruits

Re: Charlie Brewer CommitsAdd in the 583 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns and you have a guy who accounted for 4,009 yards of total offense and 52 combined touchdowns against just five interceptions while playing against solid competition.

Re: Charlie Brewer CommitsHey I was excited about a Lake Travis kid commiting
Re: Charlie BrewerNo. 94 you say Stallion?
Re: Charlie Brewer CommitsNice pickup and bonus that Stallion's actually getting kinda funny
Nice pedigree: Charlie's brother Michael was an underrated qb at Texas Tech and Va Tech, their father, Robert Brewer, grandfather, Charley Brewer, and uncle, Rob Moerschell, all played quarterback at Texas
Re: Charlie Brewer Commits
Wowzers. One would think with that type of legacy the boys would be a Longhorns.
Re: Charlie Brewer Commits
I think that kind of thing got UT in trouble not that long ago.
Re: Charlie Brewer Commits
Brewer is a fantastic commitment, but he isn't the 4 or 5 star QB that the big guns focus on. Same thing happened with his brother. They don't have the measurable, but they know how to run the system and are athletic enough to be very successful in college. GG was recruited by UT because he is 6'4 and has a prototype arm.
